Daniel Papadopoulos is a Melbourne-based Physiotherapist who graduated from La Trobe Univsersity in 2015 with a degree in Bachelor of Health Science Master of Physiotherapy Practice. Since then, he has worked in private practice and occupational rehabilitation in Melbourne prior to moving to the United Kingdom, where he worked in various NHS Hospitals over 5 years. While there Daniel worked in some of the largest NHS Trusts in London, such as University College London Hospital and Guys and St Thomas' Hospitals. In these Trusts, he worked closely with numerous specialists in complex pain, pre and post-operative traumas and alongside the Institute of Sport and Exercise Health. During the COVID pandemic Daniel worked on the inpatient wards helping acutely unwell patients and transitioned into community care thereafter to continue their home-based rehabilitation post-discharge.

 

Since returning to Melbourne in December 2022 Daniel has worked in onsite occupational Physio roles in addition to private practice, working with numerous private, home care package and NDIS clients. Daniel enjoys individual and group-based exercise sessions focusing on strength and conditioning, balance and gait rehab. His particular areas of interest are in pre and post-op total joint surgery, falls and balance, stroke, dizziness and vertigo.

 

Outside of work Daniel is also passionate about soccer and basketball and has previously worked with state level soccer teams. He has a keen interest in travelling, cycling and has a particular interest in languages. He is currently learning Greek and has dabbled in Spanish and Polish while trying to keep up his German.
